Placentas can be used for consumption (encapsulation into pills, smoothies, or tinctures), medical donation (tissue grafts for burns and wounds), keepsakes (prints, jewelry, or cord shapes), and burial (nourishing plants).
Basic service includes the traditional steaming and dehydration process to produce the placental pills. Once placenta is received, turn around time is approximately 2-3 days. Dosage of placenta pills varies greatly amongst people and should be looked at from person to person decision making process with their provider.
Placenta Services
Birthing Roots picks up the placenta at your home, birth center or hospital and delivers the completed medicine to your home within a few days for an additional $50 fee.
Otherwise, families can drop off the placenta and pick up the medication at my west side location.
