I provide individualized doula services based on each family's unique needs and expectations. I am experienced in home, hospital, and birth center settings. I hold doula certification with PALS and DONA.

Prenatal Doula
I have been caring for pregnant women and their families for over 15 years. Payment is on a sliding scale of $18.00–$25.00 per hour (package deals available).

Birth Doula
I am certified through PALS & DONA and have over 15 years experience assisting families through the joy and challenges of labor. I strive to support a safe and loving space for families to welcome their new babies. I offer the knowledge of my experience, encouragement, comfort measures and continual assistance during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I offer the following complete package, but I am open to discussing alternative arrangements for families that desire more or less direct work (such as attendance at your birth only or extended prenatal or postpartum care). Payment is based on a sliding scale fee of $900.00–$1,600.00 and includes:

  • Free consultation visit
  • On call availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Labor and birth tub rental
  • One childbirth class (6 week series, one-day intensive, or sibling preparation)
  • Two prenatal visits to build our relationship and discuss birth plans
  • Attendance at your birth and approximately 3 hours of immediate postpartum care
  • Two postpartum visits to discuss breastfeeding, healing, processing birth experience and assisting with family needs
  • Placenta preparation for encapsulation, artwork and medicinal purposes

I strive to support a safe and loving space for families to welcome their new babies. I offer comfort measures and continual assistance both during and after labor.

  • Calm, patient, loving, dependable, knowledgeable, comfortable, supportive care
  • Physical comfort measures such as massage and aromatherapy
  • Experienced regarding hospital and home birth routines
  • Knowledgeable regarding stages of labor, complications, and variations
  • Suggest positions for labor and delivery
  • Communicate with hospitals and care providers
  • Help process information from care providers
  • Certified breastfeeding educator
  • Update family members via phone or in person of labor progress
  • Reassure support team as to normalcy of labor
  • Encourage support team to utilize comfort measures on mother
  • Remind families of their birth plans and prior choices
  • Provide care for older siblings
  • Run errands
  • Refer to resources in community

Postpartum Doula
As a mother of two breastfed children, I remember the physical and emotional challenges faced during this time of healing and transition. I am a Certified Lactation Educator who has been lovingly supporting moms and families for over 15 years. Through these experiences I have gained the skills and knowledge to support the family-newborn relationship. Each family's needs are unique and services will be adjusted to personal requests. Payment is based on a sliding scale of $18.00–$25.00 an hour (package deals available).
